EGADS, IT IS ALREADY JUNE, 2001!!!!!

Weblog Topics & Subjects in various states of contemplation or completion on the drawing board:

1. Finishing up the ìtv and movies when I was a kidî essay (began it on April 18th). I'll finish it yet, that's a solemn promise. Well, a promise, it need not really be "solemn."
2. Doc-fuckiní-toral thesis on why some people seem to have their heads up their asses, and find Docís mofo Weblog too fucking profane, goddammitall. No shit!

3. Speaking of Doc, and of Katzís, too, my planned little cute story about how ìDoc Searls is a man of his word.î It all started when we had one of our two dinners in a row (a few months apart) at Katzís, and discussed a variety of subjects.

4. ìRESTORE DIGNITY TO THE WHITE HOUSE: BRING BACK CHELSEA CLINTON AS THE FIRST DAUGHTER!î

5. How that Jerrolds guy, the Senator from Vermont who became an Independent, has become confused by the newsmedia at largeówho seem to think he became a Democrat.

6. All sorts of stuff about the Yankees, which belongs on the other weblog, as well as comments on the Chisox, the Phillies, the Expos firing the talented Felipe Alou and replacing him with that excellent broadcaster, former player and loser of a manager Jeff Torborg, and much more.

7. April was a month-plus late this year, so we will probably have June and July flowers.

8. How busy Iíve been lately.

9. Thanks and a big ìgee whiz!î to JD Lasica, for a few things. First, go check out his insightful New Media Musings blog. Then read his thoughts on blogging, from a series of articles JD wrote in OnLine Journalism Review. Meanwhile, back at his blog, you can see how when I answered some questions he raised, he published my comments (all of ëem, from start to finish) on his blog, as an individual, stand-alone page within his blog. There were other comments JD posted, and you can see the reference page over here in JD's blog. I will eventually create some sort of link to JDís blog, and specifically, to that ever-so-pride-inducing and humbling job he did of posting my comments.

Notice a lot of references and links to JD's blog? That's because he is a thinker and writer, a good one, at that. Spend some worthy moments taking a look at what he has to offer.

10. A post-mortem on the SULFNBK.EXE virus hoax, which I sorta kinda fell victim to, and then realized it was BS, but had already sent an alert e-mail to the zillions of people with whom Iíd exchanged any e-mail over the prior 90 daysÖand then sent out a correction/update. Only one person flamed me over it, one guy sent a complaint letter that screeched, and my son was miffed that I didnít get the ìoops, maybe it isnít a virusî follow-up letter out quickly enough. As he put it, since it came from me, he immediately sent it to all his friends. Apparently this caused some hysteria amongst them. The ex had a conniption that she might have a virus, and one of my sonís friendsí mothers (a very talented artist, I might add) called the ex, and she, too, was freaked out over a possible virus in her PC!

Late addition to the SULFNBK virus files: http://www.zdnet.com/zdnn/stories/news/0,4586,5092120,00.html?chkpt=zdnn_rt_latest

11. A whole bunch of other things I canít remember right this moment.
