Beatles (well, McCartney) Alert
The following went out as an e-mail
to a pretty large list. Sometimes it seems that big-list e-mails
might just be more easily distributed as blog posts. Delivery via e-mail seems
more efficient in terms of likely, timely reading. But the blog
has wider reach and longevity. So now it is in both places.

(remember vinyl?) was released in the US on October 1st, 1969. A mere
36 years, 4 months, and 26 days ago.

Yikes!! I have ties and albums that are older than some of my
friends, colleagues and associates. The ties go in and out of
fashion, but the music never stops having appeal. On June 18th
of this year Paul McCartney can sing "When I'm 64" and truly know
whereof he speaks, er, sings.
