It Comes In Threes

It Comes In Threes

A week or so ago came news of  the deaths of Darren McGavin, Don
Knotts, and Dennis Weaver.  Three names from television, and also

Whining In Public

Or maybe that headline should be Nagging In Public.  With every bit of restraint and self control on high alert, comes this post.

Beatles (well, McCartney) Alert

Beatles (well, McCartney) Alert

The following went out as an e-mail
to a pretty large list.  Sometimes it seems that big-list e-mails
might just be more easily distributed as blog posts.  Delivery via e-mail seems

collaborative wiki.  Second, by posting this, said wiki provider

Things To Do

Things To Do

So many tasks, so little time!  The good news (other than Spring
Training officially opening tomorrow -- Pitchers and Catchers report to
camp!!) is that I continue to gain strength and get more of my voice
back.  The not-so-good news is that catching up on all the stuff
that piled up takes a ton of time and energy.

There are many reasons to be happy.  First  a few date & event-related notes, and then a real-life true story.

A corner was turned.  The worst was over.  Health, although in no apparent hurry,  seemed to
be making a slow comeback.  And so did it it seem.  One day,
finally, one just finds oneself traveling on the heralded Road To
Recovery.
