and they get a nice T-shirt and a great World Champs baseball cap, too.

The numbers tell the story.

THE WORLD SERIES CONTINUES

THE WORLD SERIES CONTINUES

We are in Yankee Fan World Series Mania! The phone rings at all hours. E-mails come from all over. Clients know not to call during the games. Friends call asking for a preview of the coming game. Fellow fans call during the game to discuss what just happened. Others call right after to conduct a post-mortem.

Our buddy Greig in Scotland is watching the games, despite it being the middle of the night for him.

YANKS ON THEIR WAY TO THE SERIES!

THE YANKS GO TO THE WORLD SERIES

Continuing where we left off, as the Yanks won, with loads of stories and anecdotes. What a wonderful time to be a Yankee fan!!

A TRUE STORY: How I learned The Yanks Won

OK, somebody paid me a hundred bucks not to watch the Yanks last night. I don't usually take weeknight gigs for my band, but it was a good gig and the start of a three-night stand.

YANKS IN SEVEN!

YANKS IN SEVEN

As promised hereabouts, the Bronx Bombers did it again. Brawn & Boone!

A nail-biter of a game, some great pitching, a New York crowd like no other, and the home team takes the prize.

Life As We Know It Goes On. Whew!

I voted for Wally, although the Bruiser almost edged out Wally. But the Bruiser's peculiar choice of headware voided his sandals and socks faux pas.

I post this, since I am receiving many hits each day from the various pro-Clark blogs and sites that list DeanLand as a Clark-friendly site. Yes, this is a Pro-Clark site.

Post-BloggerCon Observations

Post-BloggerCon Observations

My friend and fellow blogger Keith Povall of The UK (with a recently updated post no less, go read it!) was astounded that I would spend part of a weekend attending a conference on blogs, or blogging. He sent me an e-mail questioning the very concept or purpose of a Blogger Conference.

Dean,

I read your blog.

WOW! and WHEW!

WOW! and WHEW!

Short update: Spent all of Sunday at BloggerCon2003. WOW! Kudos to Dave Winer and Wendy Koslow (et al) for putting on an excellent conference.

As has been documented hereabouts, left NY late in the afternoon Saturday, spend the night with friends in Providence, then arrived in Cambridge Sunday at the crack of dawn.

Morning: attended the "General BOF" session.
