Monday, Monday

Monday, Monday

It is with great pleasure that I can say that this has been the most productive Monday, more so than any in recent memory. Loose ends getting neatly tied up, progress made on a variety of projects, and clarity coming into focus on some of those fuzzy areas. The ones that can be so troublesome, becuase the fuzziness, the lack of clarity, can sometimes obscure the core issue.

I also did a few good deeds, and have some more to complete over the next day or so.

Going Ape For BloggerCon!

Will there be complimentary bananas, coconuts, and palm vines (for flossing and transportation) at BloggerCon?

Endings of The Season

Endings of The Season

It being a time of religious holiday observation, Susan and I celebrated a specific religious ritual at the Shrine of our choice.

Even just looking at the logo is a wonderful thing!Today we attended the final home game, and the final game of the season at Yankee Stadium.

Rosh Hashana Ha Ha

Here's a question for you: In Hip Hop Heimishe Households, do they celebrate with Apples & Homey?

A New Year

A New Year

Rosh Hashanah is here yet again. For Jews all over the planet, this means a new year. Actually, to be more specific, it celebrates the creation of the world. Celebrated annually, it has come to be called the new year holiday. Actually, if it were known as Creation Day, that would be more apt. Although, to be technical, it is actually supposed to celebrate the 6th day of the week-long creation process.

This marks the beginning of the High Holy Days. These, along with Passover, represent the holiest of days in the Jewish calendar.

Evil Tentacles & Clear Channel -- One and The Same?

Recently in this space mention was made of how Orwellian some things seem. The media monoliths seem to have all sorts of power, their tentacles reaching far and wide.

Some readers may have noticed a link over on the right, to the site, clearchannelsucks.org.

The Senate Says No

As I was Saying . . .

As I was Saying . . .

There is much to say, time is limited, so I will be brief (yes, I know, a rarity in these parts). Also, despite all the teasers, Guest Blogger is taking her time in completing her entry. So what to do? Have another guest blogger, that's what! See below for more on that.

So Much To Say . . .

So Much To Discuss . . . So Little Time

So little time to blog, anyway. Work gets in the way, making a living, striving to find a way to meet the obligations, and so forth. Hopefully, not in vain!

The prior blog entry, a September 11th observation, remembrance and commentary, broke this blog's record for hits within one week's time. Thanks to the many who linked to it, pointed to it, referred it others.
